Late Score Costs Fenton Tigers Varsity Against Bay City Western HS

Fenton Tigers Varsity lost the lead late in an 11-4 defeat to Bay City Western HS on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Bay City Western HS batting in the top of the fifth when Shooltz drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Fenton Tigers Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Bay City Western HS, giving up 11 runs.

Fenton Tigers Varsity evened things up at one in the bottom of the third inning when Connor Luck singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Fenton Tigers Varsity notched three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Fenton Tigers Varsity was led by Leo Thompson and Brady Tallman, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Bay City Western HS scored four runs in the seventh inning. The big inning for Bay City Western HS came thanks to singles by Lacourse and Yurgaites, a walk by Decaire, and a groundout by Randall.
