Early Lead For Flushing Seals Fate For Fenton Tigers Varsity

Fenton Tigers Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-0 loss to Flushing on Monday. Flushing took the lead on a groundout in the first inning.

The Fenton Tigers Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Flushing, giving up seven runs.

Flushing fired up the offense in the first inning. Richert grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Colin Lawrence in the third inning was a positive for Fenton Tigers Varsity.

Slogor earned the win for Flushing. The hurler allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

Kyle Crow took the loss for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The bulldog allowed five hits and four runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six.

Flushing smacked two home runs on the day. Jones went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Morrison had a dinger in the sixth inning.
