The Fenton Wrestling squad competed at Saginaw Heritage on Saturday in the Division 1 district. Freshman Philip Lamka continued his outstanding season becoming Fenton's first district champ since the 2019 season. Lamka defeated teammate Evan Harper in the quarters by fall. In the semi finals Lamka defeated Jacob Boudreau of Flushing 19-2 to move into the championship. In the finals Lamka wrestle 5th ranked Kyle White of Davison defeating him 6-1 to become the 145 pound District Champ. 

At 103 pounds Kendra Ryan went 2-1 on the day taking 2nd place. Kendra defeated Owen Cleaver of Port Huron North by fall. In the Semi Final Ryan defeated A.J Gray of Grand Blanc 6-0. In the final Kendra lost to top ranked Justin Gates of Davison. 

At 140 pound Sophomore Dylan Beverly placed 3rd. In the Quarters Dylan defeated teammate Kyle Dunfield by fall. In the semi Final Beverly lost to Cole Shelb of Midland by fall. In the consolation semi final Dylan defeated Levi Lloyd of Swartz Creek 14-4. In the 3rd place match Beverly won a 5-2 decision over Ryan Madison of Grand Blanc. 

At heavy weight Jackson Carinduff took 3rd. Cairnduff in the quarters defeated Colton Turk of Lapeer by fall. Jackson in the semi final lost to Tyler Jelinek of Davison by fall. Cairduff captured another pin in the blood round over Jadon Quinn of Flushing to move into the 3rd place match. He followed that up with another quick pin over Matheo Perez of Saginaw Heritage. 

Freshman Ben Triola also had to wrestle back to get out placing 4th. Ben won his first match by fall over Ted Bidwell of Swartz Creek. Triola then lost a close decision 10-6 against Ethan Ramsay of Traverse City Central. In the blood round Ben started slow but pulled away from Andrew Howison of Port Huron North winning a 9-4 decision. In the 3rd place match Triola lost by fall to Luke Maurer of Flushing.

Senior Login Fuller qualified for Regionals at 189 pounds. In the quarters Fuller won by fall over Eli Cleaver of Midland High. Advancing to the Semi Finals Fuller wrestled top ranked Remy Cotton of Traverse City Central losing by technical fall. Fuller bounced back winning his blood round match 6-3 over Jaxson Hicks of Flushing. In the 3rd place match Fuller got a rematch against Davison's Landon Kish. Fuller lost a 2-0 decision placing 4th. 

Fenton travels to Davison Saturday for the individual Regional.
