Fenton continued their success wrestling tough competition on Saturday at home. In the first match up Fenton wrestled Brandon again The Blackhawks put on a better showing but the Tigers were just too strong. The final score was 48-25 Fenton. Capturing wins for the Tigers was, Isaac Croney, Kyle Dunfield, Dylan Beverly, Phillip Lamka, Ben Triola, Login Fuller, Jackson Cairnduff, Garrett Clark, and Kendra Ryan. 

In the second match the Tigers took on Owosso. Fenton found themselves down 9-0 after two matches. Fenton proceeded in winning the next 12 matches bringing the final score to 70-9. Kyle Dunfield, Dylan Beverly, Philip Lamka, Ben Triola, Mason Church, Login Fuller, Carson krzeszak, Jackson Cairnduff, Garrett Clark, Kendra Ryan, Ellan Turnblom, and Ethan Radloff all had wins. 

In the final match Fenton wrestled 9th ranked Oxford. Right away Fenotn found themselves down 13-0. Philip Lamka got the Tigers on the board getting a pin at 152. Ben Triola then won by decision 10-6 making the score 13-9 in favor of Oxford. The next two matches went to Oxford and it looked as if they were pulling away with the score at 22-9. Carson Krzeszak and Jackson Cairnduff got back to back pins bringing the score to 22-21 in favor of Oxford. At 103 Oxford won by major increasing their lead to 26-21. Kendra Ryan in the next match was down 12-5 when she captured a 3rd period pin at 112 pounds giving the Tigers the lead 27-26. Oxford then got back to back pins putting it out of reach for the Tigers. Isaac Croney won the final match by major bringing the score to 38-31 in favor of Oxford. Fenton is now 6-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Linden on Wednesday.
