Fenton traveled to Goodrich on Thursday to begin the league season. In the first dual the Tigers wrestled the Hornets of Kearsley. Fenton wasted no time racking off 30 straight with wins from Philip Lamka, Ben Triola, Mason Church, Login Fuller, and Carson Krzeszak. The Hornets got on the board at heavy weight but then voided the next four making the score 54 to 6 in favor of Fenton. The Tigers would win 2 of the last four matches with Adam Barcome and Kyle Dunfield winning by fall making the final score 66-18. 

In the 2nd match the Tigers wrestled the Blackhawks form Brandon. The score was 36-6 after seven matches in favor of Fenton. Ben Triola, Login Fuller, Carson Krzeszak, Jackson Cairnduff, Garrett Clark, and Kenra Ryan got wins in the first seven matches. Brandon won at  171, 119, 125, and 135. The Tigers finished strong with Isaac Croney, Kyle Dunfield, Dylan Beverly, and Philip Lamka picking up wins bringing the final score to 58-24.

In the night cap Fenton took on the Martians from Goodrich. Fenton was leading after nine matches but Goodrich finished winning four out of the last five matches with three being by fall bringing the final score to 40-25 in favor of Goodrich. The Tigers are 4-2 on the season.
