The month of March is recognized as National Athletic Trainer Awareness Month and Fenton Area Public Schools is fortunate to have one of the best in the business working tirelessly every day with our student athletes and coaches.  Mitch Smelis has been a staple in our Athletic program for over 20 years and we are all better for it.  Mitch not only serves our athletes in Fenton, but also represents Athletic Trainers from around the state as member of the Board for the Michigan Athletic Trainers Society.
