The girls varsity ski team placed 3rd this Tuesday behind Clarkston and Notre Dame Prep, at the South Eastern Michigan Ski League Championship at Mt. Holly. The girls scored 82 points in giant slalom, as Emma Hiscock took home a 6th place medal with the time of 48.62. Julia Young placed 34th with a time of 50.75. Lara Kemp placed 36th with a time of 50.77. Josie Beach placed 46th with a time of 51.36. In slalom the girls scored 88 points, with Emma Hiscock placing 12th with a time of 1:03.25. Josie Beach placed 35th with a time of 1:08.04. Julia Young placed 40th with a time of 1:08.80. Daisey Horne placed 49th with a time of 1:11.72.

The girls varsity ski team placed 4th overall (slalom and giant slalom combined) at the MHSAA Region 2 Division 1 Regional Championship at Pine Knob yesterday. In slalom, the girls varsity ski team placed 4th with a score of 70. Emma Hiscock placed 13th with a time of 51.41. Julia Young placed 16th with a time of 52.03. Josie Beach placed 19th with a time of 52.89. Daisey Horne placed 22nd with a time of 53.54. In giant slalom, the girl's team placed 5th with a score of 74. Emma Hiscock placed 7th with a time of 39.82, and qualified for MHSAA Division 1 State Finals at Boyne Highlands on February 24th. Julia Young placed 14th with a time of 41.18. Lara Kemp placed 15th with a time of 41.27. Josie Beach placed 38th with a time of 44.63.

Tigers Win: 22 -
The girls varsity ski team placed 1st in giant slalom tonight at the Mt. Holly Divisional Championships, qualifying them for the South Eastern Michigan Ski League Championship at Mt. Holly on February 18th. The girls won a tie breaker tonight over Powers, after placing 2nd to them last night in slalom, winning them the overall Divisional title, and taking home the Division’s trophy. The tie breaker came down to our 5th place giant slalom racer Daisey Horne, who edged out Powers 5th place racer with a time of 52.45. The girls varsity ski team was undefeated in the regular season. Emma Hiscock placed 2nd tonight in giant slalom with a time of 49.38, taking home medals in both giant slalom and slalom. Emma also won the title of the fastest girl in the division, which is a combination of all the slalom and giant slalom results from the first five regular season races and this week’s divisional championship. Lara Kemp placed 5th in giant slalom with a time of 51.03, and took home a medal. Julia Young placed 7th with a time of 51.50 and Rylan Sheffield placed 8th with a time of 51.62.
The JV girls placed 2nd tonight in giant slalom with the score of 25. Sarasee Kiran took home medals in both slalom last night(3rd) and giant slalom (4th), with times of 1:20.37 and 57.59 respectively. In giant slalom, Allie Lutz placed 6th with a time of 58.47, Vien Sturm placed 7th with a time of 58.71, Sonia Arnst placed 8th with a time of 59.55 and Jamie Kemp placed 9th with a time of 59.67.

The Girls Varsity Ski Team took 2nd in the Mt. Holly Division Championships tonight in slalom. Emma Hiscock place 2nd with a time of 1:01.99, Daisy Horne places 6th with a time of 1:07.70, Josie Beach places 9th with a time of 1:09.76 and Lara Kemp placed 12th with a time of 1:13.37.

Tigers Lose: 10 - 29
The girls varsity ski team swept Holly/Oxford in giant slalom tonight, and went undefeated as they head into the Divisional Championship next week. Emma Hiscock led the team taking first with a time of 46.17, and was 2nd in the division. Julia Young placed 2nd with a time of 48.98, and was 5th in the division. Josie Beach placed 3rd with a time of 50.08, and was 6th in the division. Daisy Horne placed 4th with a time of 50.35, and was 7th in the division. Rylan Fairbanks places 10th in the division with a time of 51.05.

The girls varsity ski team remain undefeated, as they defeated Holly/Oxford tonight in slalom. Emma Hiscock won the race with a time of 58.32. Daisey Horne placed 2nd with a time of 1:04.35, and was 4th in the division. Julia Young placed 3rd with a time of 1:07.23, and was 7th in the division. Josie Beach placed 5th with a time of 1:08.93, and was 9th in the division. Lara Kemp was 10th in the division with a time of 1:09.71.

Tigers Lose: 15 - 31
The girls varsity ski team defeated Flushing tonight in giant slalom. The entire Fenton team placed in the top 10 of the division. Emma Hiscock won the race, placing first in the division with a time of 47.34. Lara Kemp placed 3rd with a time of 48.78, and was 4th in the division. Julia Young place 5th with a time of 49.75, and was 6th in the division. Rylan Sheffield places 6th with a time of 50.48, and was 7th in the division. Daisy Horne was 8th in the division with a time of 50.85, and Josie Beach placed 10th in the division with a time of 51.33.

The Fenton/Linden/Lake Fenton Girls Varsity defeated Flushing in slalom on Monday night 13 to 27. Emma Hiscock won the meet, taking first in the Division with a time of 57.42. Julia Young placed 3rd with a time of 1:03.72, and was 6th in the division. Josie Beach placed 4th with a time of 1:04.37, and was 7th in the division. Lara Kemp placed 5th with a time of 1:07.47, and was 10th in the division.

Tigers Lose: 30 - 47
The Girls' Varsity team were able to win both the Slalom and Giant Slalom races to get the win over Powers during the two days of competition this week.
The JV Girls were also victorious by a score of 26-50.
