The boys varsity ski team placed 9th this Tuesday at the South Eastern Michigan Ski League Championship at Mt. Holly. In giant slalom the boys scored 129 points as Brooks Funke placing 18th with a time of 47.58. Graham Funke placed 45th with a time of 49.44. Devon Cherney placed 48th with a time of 49.73. Simon Dicks placed 50th with a time of 49.63. In slalom, the boys scored 148 points as Brooks Funke placed 31st with a time of 1:04.01. Devon Cherney placed 43rd with a time of 1:05.59. Graham Funke placed 54th with a time of 1:07.93. Simon Dicks placed 69th with a time of 1:08.68.

Simon Dicks placed 50th with a time of 49.63. In slalom, the boys scored 148 points as Brooks Funke placed 31st with a time of 1:04.01. Devon Cherney placed 43rd with a time of 1:05.59. Graham Funke placed 54th with a time of 1:07.93. Simon Dicks placed 69th with a time of 1:08.68.

The boys varsity ski team placed 7th overall (slalom and giant slalom combined) at the MHSAA Region 2 Division 1 Regional Championship at Pine Knob yesterday. In slalom, the boys varsity ski team placed 6th with 86 points. Brooks Funke placed 18th with a time of 46.17, Devon Cherney placed 26th with a time of 47.56, Graham Funke placed 30th with a time of 49.02 and Chase Gibson placed 32nd with a time of 49.02. In giant slalom, the boys placed 7th with a score of 105. Brooks Funke placed 20th with a time of 39.08. Simon Dicks placed 22nd with a time of 39.68. Devon Cherney placed 24th with a time of 39.72. Tonight the boys varsity ski team placed 3rd in giant slalom at the Mt. Holly Divisional Championships, qualifying them for the South Eastern Michigan Ski League Championship at Mt. Holly on February 18th. Brooks Funke took home medals in both last night's slalom, placing 4th with a time of 59.39, and giant slalom tonight placing 5th with a time of 47.52, Chase Gibson placed 10th with a time of 49.67, Devon Cherney placed 12th with a time of 49.84 and Gavin Thomas was 14th with a time of 50.36.
The boys JV won the giant slalom tonight. Ryland Fairbanks and Blane Copeland took home medals in both slalom and giant slalom. Ryland Fairbanks placed 1st in slalom last night with a time of 1:04.60 and 1st in giant slalom with a time of 49.46. Blane Copeland placed 3rd in slalom last night with a time of 1:13.29, and 5th in giant slalom with a time of 53.38. In giant slalom Josh Brott placed 7th with a time of 55.31, Danny Mays placed 9th with a time of 55.72 and Mitchell Scheer placed 10th with a time of 55.76.

Chase Gibson placed 8th with a time of 46.82, and was 10th in the division.

The Fenton/Linden/Lake Fenton Boys Varsity defeated Flushing in slalom on Monday night 13 to 29. Brooks Funke led the team, taking first with a time of 56.85 and placing 7th overall in the Division. Devon Cherney placed 3rd, with a time of 58.78 and was 10th in the Division. Graham Funke placed 4th with a time of 59.00 and Simon Dicks placed 5th with a time of 1:00.36.

The Varsity Boys' team swept the top four places in both the slalom and the giant slalom on Wednesday and Thursday vs Powers.
The JV team was also victorious over Powers by a score of 35-82.
