Senior Lukas Zywicki was 2 and 1 on the day placing 2nd in the league at 189. Lukas defeated Ethan O'kelly of Clio 4-0 and Aiden Buckley of Corunna 8-2. Lukas lost 6-3 in the 1st place match to Kevin Patterson of Goodrich. Lukas is is 17-3 on the season. Freshman Kyle Dunfield continued his success as well placing 3rd at 130. Kyle defeated Reid Hielan of Goodrich by fall, Holden Alderman of Brandon by fall, Lost to Jackson Harner of Flushing in the semi finals. Kyle then wrestled back defeating Clark Ray of Linden 7-5 and Malachi Kingen of Swartz Creek 8-1 in the 3rd place match. Kyle is now 23-18 on the year. Kendra Ryan was Honorable Mention at 103 placing 4th. Kendra defeated Mitchell Ross of Flushing by fall, lost to Mason Fuedale of Swartz Creek. Kendra then defeated Gabe Soja of Holly by fall then lost the 3rd place match 1-0 to Herremias Cheff of Goodrich. Kendra is now 30-9 on the year. Dylan Beverly was 2-2 on the day falling short in the Blood round. Dylan defeated Chance Carlson of Goodrich by fall, lost to Xavier Anderson of Corunna, defeated Brandon Garvin of Kearsley by fall, then lost 6-4 to Logan O'kelly (3rd place) of Clio. Team District are at Linden on Thursday followed by Individual Districts at home on Saturday.
