Fenton Wrestling placed 4th today at the Battle of Bavaria in Frankenmuth. Five wrestlers walked away with medals with others performing very well. At 103 pounds Junior Kendra Ryan was the lone Champion pinning her way through the tournament going 3-0 defeating Emaline Hicks (Saline) by fall, Owen Campbell (Lapeer) by fall, and George Coulter (North Branch) by fall to take 1st place. Freshman Dylan Beverly was 3-1 on the day defeating Loagan Geitman (Frankemuth) by fall, Sam Hinojosa (Lapeer) by fall, Vito Maniaci (Chesaning) by tech fall 16-1, and losing 7-4 to Robert Cann of Whitmore Lake in the Championship. Senior Lukas Zywicki  was also 3-1 on the day placing 3rd. He defeated CJ Kraft (Saline), Tyrell Trush (Farwell) by fall, lost to Nicholas Young (Lapeer) 2-0, and defeated Chase Williams (CA) by fall in the 3rd place match. Junior Ella Turnblom placed 4th on the day. Ella defeated Isaiah Robinson (CA) by fall, lost to Luke Sherman (Millington) by fall, then lost 10-4 in the 3rd place match to Jabril Muhammad (CA). Junior Mason Church also placed 4th going 1-2. Mason defeated Chase Haggerty (Brandon) by fall and lost to Connor Owen (Powers) and Connor Roche (Frankemuth). 

Senior Seth Sutter (215) placed 5th going 2-1. Seth lost to 2nd place Joe McNiel (North Branch) in his first match then wrestled back defeating Theodore Hoadley (Whitmore Lake) and Colton Turk (Lapeer). Freshman Kyle Dunfield (130) lost his first match to 2nd place Clayton Jarvey (Saline), then wrestled back winning 3 in a row over Timothy Neville (Chesaning), Ethan Wenta (North Branch) and Blake Domer (North Branch) all by fall. Junior Jackson Cairnduff, Freshman Adam Barcome & Junior Garrett Langford were all 2-2 on the day.
