Huron Valley United were the visitors and they brought out the best in the Fenton-Linden Heat on Wednesday night. The teams played cautiously in the first half and the Heat were down after 25 minutes, 2-5. HVU opened the second with 4 goals and the Heat responded with 2 of their own. With 15 minutes left in regulation, the score stood at 4-9. Teams traded goals to the end with HVU netting 4 more to the Heat’s 3 goals. After 50 minutes the final score was 7-13.
Allison Brown faced 31 shots and turned away 18, a .580 Save % (2 for 4 from Free Position). The Heat shot 7 for 23, a .304 Shooting % (1 for 4 from F.P.).
