The Fenton-Linden Heat played the role of visitor on Tuesday night as they faced Metro League foe, Lake Fenton-Goodrich in Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse. After losing the first draw and surrendering the first goal, the Heat were never felt threatened again and scored five unanswered goals. At the ten-minute mark, LF-G netted their second goal only to be the victim of thirteen (13) consecutive Heat goals. After 50 minutes the Heat were victorious with a 19-5 final score. It was the most balanced team effort of the season as the Heat enjoyed scoring from ten (10) different players, won 21 of 26 draws, and caused 5 turnovers. Goalkeeper, Allison Brown saw 10 shots and made 5 saves (half the shots were from 8-meter Free Position).
