Fenton beat Walled Lake Western 7-1 to open district play on Monday night. Ben Grob opened the scoring off of a Will Dickens assist before scorer turned provided for when Grob assisted Patrick Hamilton. Will Dickens would go on to add two goals and another assist. Patrick Hamilton scored a second and Roman Guerra scored before the game was done. Sawyer Miller, Tyler Hahn and Trey Hajec would also get assists. Sawyer Miller and Trevor Martin split time in net. Trevor Martin would save a late game PK to hold Western to one goal. The Tigers move on to play South Lyon East Thursday night at 6:30pm at home.
