Deton Thommen's basket with 50 seconds remaining gave the Tigers their first lead of the game and they held on to defeat the Kearsley Hornets 40 - 38 in an exciting contest on Tuesday. Luke Battaglia scored 10 points, Gavin Freeman and Brady Pearson each chipped in 6 points to lead the Tigers. Joshua Vardon (5), Thommen (4), Camren Ellison (3), Sam Wolfgram (2), Colton Moore (2), and Alec Mock (2) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers. The Tigers were down 30 -21 at the end of the 3rd quarter and scored 19 points in the 4th quarter to win the game.
