The Fenton Freshmen defeated the Linden Eagles 9-0 in game 1 on Tuesday, as Evan Hoglin and Luke White combined for the shutout. They did most of their damage in the first inning, with Hoglin, Connor McDermott, Logan Carpenter, Hunter Negley, and Carson Hancock all netting RBI. Hoglin ended the game 3-3 and Jake Murphy chipped in with 3 stolen bases.
