Fenton Varsity Tigers Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Fenton Varsity Tigers fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-1 loss to Flushing Raiders Varsity on Monday.  Flushing Raiders Varsity scored on a single by Brayden Jones and a single by Gavin Horkey in the first inning.

The Fenton Varsity Tigers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Flushing Raiders Varsity, giving up 11 runs.

Flushing Raiders Varsity got things moving in the first inning.  Jones drove in one when Jones singled.

Flushing Raiders Varsity scored eight runs in the third inning.  Reece Jones, Kole Andrews,  Alex Tushim, Coleman Brandow, Braden Slogor, and Jones all drove in runs in the frame.

Peyton Gillean pitched Flushing Raiders Varsity to victory. The pitcher lasted six innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out one and walking one.

Noah Dotson took the loss for Fenton Varsity Tigers. The bulldog allowed three hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one.

Gage Graham, Ty Trosen, Jack Coleman, Nolan Alvord, and Kyle Crow each collected one hit to lead Fenton Varsity Tigers.

Flushing Raiders Varsity had nine hits in the game.  Jones, Horkey, Brandow, and Tushim each racked up multiple hits for Flushing Raiders Varsity.
