Fenton Varsity Tigers Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Fenton Varsity Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-0 loss to Flushing Raiders Varsity on Monday.  Flushing Raiders Varsity took the lead on a double in the first inning by Braden Slogor.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Flushing Raiders Varsity pitchers struck out nine, while Fenton Varsity Tigers sat down nine.

One bright spot for Fenton Varsity Tigers was a single by Jack Coleman in the third inning.

Slogor got the win for Flushing Raiders Varsity. The righthander surrendered zero runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking zero.

Kyle Crow took the loss for Fenton Varsity Tigers. The pitcher surrendered two runs on five hits over five innings, striking out eight.

Brendan Phillips, Coleman, and Spencer Luck all had one hit to lead Fenton Varsity Tigers.

Slogor led Flushing Raiders Varsity with three hits in four at bats.  Flushing Raiders Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field.
