Early Lead For Dexter Dreads Varsity Seals Fate For Fenton Varsity Tigers

Fenton Varsity Tigers watched the game slip away and couldn't recover in a 9-0 loss to Dexter Dreads Varsity on Friday.  Dexter Dreads Varsity took the lead in the first inning.

The Fenton Varsity Tigers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Dexter Dreads Varsity, giving up nine runs.

In the first inning, Dexter Dreads Varsity got their offense started.  Noah Pitts was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

One bright spot for Fenton Varsity Tigers was a single by Gage Graham in the second inning.

Aiden Cassidy was the winning pitcher for Dexter Dreads Varsity. The hurler went five innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out one and walking zero.  Ben Pitts and Nathan MacDonell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jaden Burnau took the loss for Fenton Varsity Tigers. The hurler went three innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking zero.

Graham led Fenton Varsity Tigers with two hits in three at bats.
