With Alvord On The Mound, Fenton Varsity Tigers Shuts Out Kearsley Vasity Hornets

Nolan Alvord didn't allow a single run against Kearsley Varsity Hornets, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Fenton Varsity Tigers to a 10-0 victory on Monday

Fenton Varsity Tigers got on the board in the first inning when Kyle Crow doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Fenton Varsity Tigers scored four runs in the fourth inning.  Fenton Varsity Tigers offense in the inning was led by Leo Thompson, Alvord, and Brendan Phillips, all driving in runs in the frame.

A single by Dylan Ruhstorfer in the first inning was a positive for Kearsley Varsity Hornets.

Alvord was credited with the victory for Fenton Varsity Tigers. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out six.

Riley Cole took the loss for Kearsley Varsity Hornets. The pitcher allowed five hits and six runs over three innings, striking out two.

Crow went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Fenton Varsity Tigers in hits.  Fenton Varsity Tigers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
