Fenton Varsity Tigers Drops Game to Saline Varsity Hornets After Late Score

Fenton Varsity Tigers stayed in it until the end, but Saline Varsity Hornets pulled away late in a 4-2 victory on Friday.  The game was tied at two with Saline Varsity Hornets batting in the top of the fifth when Kriss Sydlowski drew a walk, scoring one run.

Fenton Varsity Tigers got on the board in the first inning.  Kyle Crow drove in one when he doubled.

Zach Fidh earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Saline Varsity Hornets. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out one and walking one.   Tousa recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Saline Varsity Hornets.

Noah Dotson took the loss for Fenton Varsity Tigers. The pitcher surrendered two runs on zero hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Sam Miller started the game for Saline Varsity Hornets. The righty lasted two innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one. Nolan Alvord started the game for Fenton Varsity Tigers. Alvord lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero

Ty Trosen, Spencer Luck, Alvord, and Crow each collected one hit to lead Fenton Varsity Tigers.  Fenton Varsity Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field.
