Fenton Tigers Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Holly

Fenton Tigers Varsity defeated Holly 3-2 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. Fenton Tigers Varsity trailed 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning when Peyton Jackson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Fenton Tigers Varsity pitchers struck out four, while Holly pitchers sat down 11.

Jackson pitched Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory. The bulldog went three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Clark took the loss for Holly. The pitcher lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out eight.

Brooks Funke started the game for Fenton Tigers Varsity. Funke went three and a third innings, allowing two runs on four hits ad striking out three

Jackson, Brendan Phillips, Quinn Hartley, Nolan Alvord, and Lance Barkholz each managed one hit to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity.

Clark went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Holly in hits.
