Two Pitchers Team Up As Fenton Tigers Varsity Shuts Out Chelsea

Fenton Tigers Varsity defeated Chelsea 7-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. 

Fenton Tigers Varsity secured the victory thanks to four runs in the fifth inning. Fenton Tigers Varsity's offense in the inning came from a walk by Kyle Crow and a single by Connor Luck.

One bright spot for Chelsea was a single by Hill in the sixth inning.

Owen McCuan led the Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory on the hill. McCuan surrendered zero runs on one hit over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Funke threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

#14 took the loss for Chelsea. The bulldog allowed three hits and four runs over four and a third innings, striking out six.

Fenton Tigers Varsity collected five hits. Connor Luck and Ty Trossan each managed two hits to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity.
