Fenton Tigers Varsity Takes Victory Against Powers Catholic In Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the hill Saturday, but Fenton Tigers Varsity defeated Powers Catholic 3-1. Fenton Tigers Varsity pitchers allowed just four hits to Powers Catholic.

Fenton Tigers Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning.

Owen McCuan pitched Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory. McCuan allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out two. Zach Brown threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Brown recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Fenton Tigers Varsity.

Dupuis took the loss for Powers Catholic. The bulldog surrendered three runs on two hits over four innings, striking out two.

Lance Barkholz led Fenton Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Fenton Tigers Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. 

Garman went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Powers Catholic in hits.
