Fenton Tigers Varsity Falls To Linden On Walk-Off

A walk-off left Fenton Tigers Varsity on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat to Linden on Thursday. The game was tied at two with Linden batting in the bottom of the seventh when Rofi singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Linden pitchers struck out nine, while Fenton Tigers Varsity sat down four.

Linden got things started in the second inning. Keener drove in one when he doubled.

Green earned the victory on the hill for Linden. The hurler allowed two hits and one run over two innings, striking out three and walking one.

Peyton Jackson took the loss for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The bulldog surrendered one run on two hits over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking one.

Hemphill started the game for Linden. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out six Spencer Luck started the game for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The hurler lasted five and a third innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one

Kyle Crow, Connor Luck, and Lance Barkholz each collected one hit to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity.

Linden racked up eight hits. Green and Alflen all had multiple hits for Linden.
