Barkholz's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Fenton Tigers Varsity Victory Over Linden

Fenton Tigers Varsity took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Linden. The game was tied at three with Fenton Tigers Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Lance Barkholz singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Fenton Tigers Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Linden to score three runs in the sixth inning. Linden big bats were led by L Haney and Goodman, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Fenton Tigers Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Kyle Crow grounded out, scoring one run.

In the top of the sixth inning, Linden tied things up at three. Goodman drove in two when Goodman singled.

Peyton Jackson was credited with the victory for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The fireballer lasted two innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out two.

Aeschliman took the loss for Linden. Aeschliman surrendered four runs on nine hits over six and a third innings, striking out four.

Barkholz started the game for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The hurler went five innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out two

Fenton Tigers Varsity collected ten hits. Nolan Alvord, Barkholz, Ty Trossan, and Brendan Phillips each collected multiple hits for Fenton Tigers Varsity. Alvord led Fenton Tigers Varsity with three hits in four at bats. Fenton Tigers Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field.
