Fenton Tigers Varsity Takes Victory Against Linden In Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Monday, but Fenton Tigers Varsity defeated Linden 2-1. Kyle Crow allowed just three hits to Linden.

Linden got on the board in the first inning when Hemphill singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Fenton Tigers Varsity tied things up at one when Crow doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Fenton Tigers Varsity pulled away for good in the fourth inning on Lance Barkholz's sac fly scoring one run.

Crow led the Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory on the hill. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out eight.

Kenyon took the loss for Linden. The bulldog lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out four.

Crow led Fenton Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at bats. Fenton Tigers Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field.
