Fenton Tigers Varsity Defeats Kearsley In A Blow-Out Victory

Fenton Tigers Varsity had everything working on Monday, winning big over Kearsley 11-2

Kearsley got things moving in the first inning. Kearsley scored one run when Malenfant doubled.

In the top of the second inning, Fenton Tigers Varsity tied things up at two.

Fenton Tigers Varsity pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning when Kyle Crow singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run and Fenton Tigers Varsity scored one run on a stolen base.

Fenton Tigers Varsity scored four runs in the seventh inning. Spencer Luck, Eli Henderson, and Nolan Alvord all drove in runs in the frame.

Lance Barkholz pitched Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory. The fireballer allowed four hits and two runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking zero. Peyton Jackson threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Cole took the loss for Kearsley. The hurler went six innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Crow went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity in hits. Fenton Tigers Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
