Fenton Tigers Varsity Blows Out Holly
Fenton Tigers Varsity sailed to an easy victory over Holly 13-1 on Wednesday
Fenton Tigers Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Connor Luck drove in two when he singled.
Fenton Tigers Varsity put up four runs in the fourth inning. Fenton Tigers Varsity offense in the inning was led by Lance Barkholz, Brendan Phillips, and Spencer Luck, who all drove in runs.
Spencer Luck got the win for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The bulldog surrendered one run on five hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Brooks Funke threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Dennie took the loss for Holly. The bulldog surrendered ten runs on six hits over three innings, striking out two.
Fenton Tigers Varsity tallied ten hits on the day. Barkholz, Luck, and Phillips each had multiple hits for Fenton Tigers Varsity. Barkholz led Fenton Tigers Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
