Fenton Tigers Varsity Claims Victory Over Swartz Creek

Fenton Tigers Varsity wins contest against Swartz Creek on Saturday, 7-3

Fenton Tigers Varsity opened up scoring in the second inning, when Kyle Crow tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Fenton Tigers Varsity scored three runs in the fifth inning. Connor Luck and Logan Angel each drove in runs during the inning.

Crow pitched Fenton Tigers Varsity to victory. The ace allowed two hits and three runs over six innings, striking out five. Eddie Briand threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kozma took the loss for Swartz Creek. The hurler went four and a third innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Fenton Tigers Varsity tallied nine hits in the game. Angel, Brendan Alvord, Crow, and Lance Barkholz each had multiple hits for Fenton Tigers Varsity. Barkholz, Crow, Alvord, and Angel each collected two hits to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity.
