Connor Luck's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Fenton Tigers Varsity's Victory Over Corunna

Fenton Tigers Varsity took Monday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 9-8 walk-off victory over Corunna. The game was tied at eight with Fenton Tigers Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Connor Luck singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Corunna scored five runs in the third inning, but Fenton Tigers Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by Corunna was led by StahrDarling, and Belmer, all driving in runs in the inning.

Corunna got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run for Corunna.

Fenton Tigers Varsity knotted the game up at eight in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Brendan Alvord's sac fly scored one run for Fenton Tigers Varsity.

After Corunna scored five runs in the top of the third, Fenton Tigers Varsity answered with five of their own. Corunna scored when Stahr doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Darling drew a walk, scoring one run, and Belmer doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring three runs. Fenton Tigers Varsity then answered when Luck grounded out, scoring one run, Eddie Briand doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Kyle Crow singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, and Seth Logan singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Gavin Diamond got the win for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The hurler went four and a third innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out one.

Mieske took the loss for Corunna. The hurler allowed six hits and four runs over four innings, striking out three.

Socia started the game for Corunna. The pitcher lasted two and a third innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out one.  Lance Barkholz started the game for Fenton Tigers Varsity. The fireballer allowed eight hits and seven runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one

Fenton Tigers Varsity had 13 hits in the game. Seth LoganLogan Angel, Brendan Alvord, and Connor Luck each managed multiple hits for Fenton Tigers VarsityLogan went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Fenton Tigers Varsity in hits.
