Fenton Tigers Varsity Drops Game To East Lansing After Late Score

Fenton Tigers Varsity lost the lead late in a 5-4 defeat to East Lansing on Friday. The game was tied at three with East Lansing batting in the top of the sixth when Ballard doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

East Lansing got on the board in the second inning when K Johnson singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Powe led the East Lansing to victory on the hill. The hurler lasted five and a third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out two and walking one. Cullen threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cullen recorded the last five outs to earn the save for East Lansing.
