2025-26 Sports Pre-Participation Exam events are open for sign up!

Brandon, Fenton, Holly, Lake Fenton, and Linden Schools are offering a combined “Sports Pre-Participation Exam” event for students entering the 6th -12th grades for the 2025-2026 school year. We offer this as an opportunity for those parents/guardians that choose to instead of making an appointment in a provider's office. This often can be the case with the timeframe for annual well child visits not lining up, or other factors.
We will do our best to accommodate as many students as possible but we are requiring appointments and are not planning to accept walk ins at this time.

As we look to get ready for the 2025-26 school year and athletic participation, please remember that the MHSAA requires students to have a valid physical/PPE (completed by an MD/DO/NP/PA) on file at their school, prior to participation. This exam has to occur on/after 4/15/2025 to be valid for the coming school year.

Should something arise in the exam, students/parents are directed to the appropriate provider for further evaluation and management as needed. Exams that are done on these events, are turned in to the school (athletics) and will be recorded to meet that MHSAA requirement.
To better accommodate more students, we are able to offer two dates to choose from. You will be give the option between:
Saturday May 17th at FENTON HIGH SCHOOL, 3200 W Shiawassee, starting at 8:45am
or
Tuesday June 10th at HOLLY HIGH SCHOOL, 6161 E Holly Road, starting at 5:30pm
The cost is $25 per student with all proceeds going to your school's Athletic Training Programs. We will only able to accept cash or check at the time of check in. Please make checks payable to Fenton Area Public Schools regardless of which day you attend or school that you attend. (This allows for easier management of the funds for these events).
